On August 12, 2024, registration for participation in the free program for students of professional pre-university and higher education and for pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers aimed at developing skills in the field of cloud technologies began.

The program will start no later than September 17, 2024, and will cover the following areas:

• Google Cloud Digital Leader: Basic understanding of cloud concepts and capabilities of Google Cloud, for example, for humanities majors.

• Google Cloud Engineering: delve into cloud infrastructure and prepare for careers such as cloud engineer or DevOps engineer.

• Google Cloud Data Analytics: analysis and transformation of data in the cloud.

• Google Cloud Computing Foundations: technical foundation in cloud computing.

• Google Cloud Cybersecurity: protection of cloud environments from threats.

• Google Cloud GenAI: generative artificial intelligence and its applications.

The program will include:

• free access to the Google Cloud Skills Boost educational platform, which contains online courses in the areas listed above; note that the presented courses are in English, so to participate in the program you need to have a basic level of English or be ready to use translation aids;

• a series of Ukrainian-language webinars was held by leading Google specialists and experts in the Ukrainian IT sphere, as well as an opportunity to receive a Google Cloud digital certificate and awards from Google.

For information: in the spring of 2024, the program passed a pilot test with the participation of five Ukrainian universities: National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", National University "Lviv Polytechnic", National University " Chernihiv Polytechnic", and Sumy State University.
