The testing will consist of four subjects:

Three mandatory – Ukrainian language, mathematics, history of Ukraine;
One at the choice of the applicant – Ukrainian literature, one of the foreign languages ​​(English, German, French or Spanish), biology, chemistry, physics or geography.
The elective subject is indicated by the applicant during registration.

Dates. As in the past year, two NMT sessions are planned:

• the main one – from May 20 to June 25, 2026;

• additional – from July 17 to 24, 2026 (for those who were unable to participate in the main session for good reasons).

The format of the NMT in 2026 remains unchanged. Initially, for 120 minutes, participants will complete tasks in the Ukrainian language and mathematics. After a 20-minute break, the testing will continue for another 120 minutes – on the history of Ukraine and an elective subject.
