Congratulations to the Winners of the “Shevchenko Well-2026” Competition!
The organizers of the competition were the lecturers of the Department of Literary Studies and Oriental Philology, Associate Professor Iryna Boitsun and Professor Viktoriia Dmytrenko.
The event demonstrated that Ukrainian youth is a generation that knows how to “love their Ukraine in times of trouble” and build its bright future with the power of thought. “We see incredible depth in the competition works on the theme “In one’s own house, one has one’s own truth, one’s own power, and one’s own will,” the jury members noted. “Today, young people perceive these words not as a quote from a textbook, but as the foundation of our state independence.” The jury included lecturers of the Department of Literary Studies and Oriental Philology, the Department of Ukrainian Language and Journalism, and the Department of Foreign Languages.

Dear winners and participants of the competition! Your works are evidence that you have heard the main testament of the Kobzar: “Study, read, and learn from others, and do not shun your own.” You are not just “studying” – you are creating a new Ukrainian culture. Remember: “Keep fighting — you are sure to win!”. May this instruction accompany you beyond the boundaries of this competition. Do not be afraid to be the first, do not be afraid to raise difficult questions and seek answers to them in your own hearts. You are the living water that fills the “Shevchenko Well”, preventing it from silting up with oblivion.
We sincerely congratulate each of you! May your heart always be filled with love for our common “house” – free and independent Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
