On November 13, the International Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Day is celebrated worldwide for the first time.
It was on this day in 1999 that the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) was created through the merger of the International Rehabilitation Medicine Association (IRMA) and the International Federation of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.
