Yesterday the Faculty of Natural Sciences received tragic news - our graduate, one of the best students we were rightly proud of - Artem Hurtovyi, died. He not only studied well, but was a bright personality, a true leader of our students. Artem has always been at the center of events in student life: he was the student dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, captain of the faculty team "League of Laughter", actively participated in sports competitions, was the best athlete, leader of volunteer work. No faculty or university events were complete without him. And he chose a courageous profession - a border guard.

Artem was a real man, and he died, just as he lived, with dignity, defending Ukraine. He died for our future, the future of his little daughters, so that we could all live as free people in our independent free Ukraine.

Artem will forever remain in our memory and in our hearts! Deep condolences to family and friends…
