This holiday reminds us of the courage of the heroes of the Maidan, of the sacrifice of those who fought and continue to fight for the right of Ukraine to be a free state, of the unity of generations that stand for the dignity of our nation.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University knows the price of freedom. Having gone through the trials of war and forced evacuation, we have preserved our community, our values, our mission. We continue to teach, create, and support each other - because this is where our dignity is manifested.

Let this day become a reminder for each of us: freedom is not only a right, but also a responsibility.

We remember all who gave their lives for Ukraine. We thank those who defend us today. We believe in victory and work for the future of our state.
