From December 2025 to February 2026, the Open Regional Festival-Competition “Gifted Youth – 2026” (online) lasted, which is traditionally held at the Faculty of Arts of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. This academic year, the competition was held with the support of the Regional Methodological Office of Educational Institutions of Art and Culture of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

The Honorary Jury, which consisted of specialized teachers of the Faculty of Arts, and the head of the jury – Iryna Prodan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, considered 333 applications.

The competition was held in the following areas: musical art, choreography, fine arts, design and media production.

The festival-competition covered all districts of the Poltava region and went beyond its borders. The festival was attended by contestants from such regions as: Poltava, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia and Volyn.

All participants received diplomas of the 1st-4th degree and certificates for participation. Teachers, directors and accompanists received certificates of advanced training. All diplomas and certificates were developed and uploaded by the technical coordinator of the competition, Alona Tereshchenko, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Music.
