Professional Exchange of Experience
Among the priorities of the educational process in the Lithuanian preschool educational institution were:
Ecological development: one of the key features of the institution is teaching children to preserve nature and be conscious of resources. The little one learns to sort garbage, participate in thematic activities and practically learn how to protect nature.
Emotional development: the institution implements programs that help children find emotional balance. In particular, the international program “Zipio draugai” teaches the 5–7 years old children to overcome everyday difficulties, understand their feelings, express them and support their peers. “Kimochis” methods and other modern approaches to developing emotional competence are also used.
Inclusion: the institution creates conditions for the equal development of all children, including those with special educational needs.
Research laboratory: children conduct interesting experiments, work with secondary materials, such as paper and plastic. This forms an understanding of the principles of sustainable development and responsible use of resources.
Additional clubs: a wide variety of classes allows children to develop their talents and skills in various areas.
This exchange of experience has become an important step in improving the educational process. The department's teachers are constantly learning, adopting innovative approaches to broaden the horizons of education and introduce modern methods for students.
