On January 21, the Ukrainian Championship in freestyle wrestling among men and women (adults, U23) took place - one of the most prestigious and responsible starts of the season. It is here that the national rating is formed, leaders are determined and the contours of future national teams are outlined.

The Faculty of Health Care and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was worthily represented by Liubov Shvets, a 2nd-year student who confidently competed in the weight category up to 65 kg. Following the results of intense fights, the athlete won a silver award, taking second place and adding her name to the cohort of national championship winners.

This result is not just a medal. It is a confirmation of the high level of preparation, strength of character and the ability to combine an intensive educational process with performances at competitions of the highest level. It is this path that forms the professional competencies of future specialists in the field of physical culture and sports and tempers real leaders.
