The all-Ukrainian webinar brought together scientists, teachers, students and social sphere specialists from different regions of Ukraine.

The topic of the meeting – “Educational resources and programs of the Council of Europe” – was dedicated to current opportunities for professional development, international cooperation and implementation of European approaches in the field of social work and youth policy.

The speaker of the event was Olena CHERNYKH, head of the Council of Europe project “Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase IV” (Council of Europe Office in Ukraine). During the speech, the participants got acquainted with the educational resources of the Council of Europe, youth support programs, tools for developing civic competences, as well as opportunities for participation in international educational initiatives.

The event was attended by more than 130 people, including scientists, psychologists, social workers and students from different regions of Ukraine. Traditionally, the event was attended by teachers, bachelors, masters and postgraduates of the Social Pedagogy Department majoring in “Social Work” and “Social Work and Counseling”. 

The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue and became an important platform for professional exchange, expansion of international contacts and popularization of modern approaches in social work.
