From January 21 to 27, 2026, the higher education institution held a defense of qualification theses of applicants for the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty 017 “Physical Culture and Sports”.

50 full-time students took part in the defense, including a foreign applicant Wang Han (China), as well as 20 applicants for part-time studies.

The qualification works were devoted to topical issues of the development of physical culture and sports and corresponded to the educational and professional program. The defense was held in an open format in compliance with the principles of academic integrity, transparency and objectivity of assessment.

According to the results of the certification, two applicants received diplomas with honors – Viktor Bezhubenko and Olena Sosiura, who performed qualification works under the scientific supervision of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Dmytrivna Shynkarova.

The defense of the qualification works was the result of the master’s studies and confirmed the proper level of formation of general and professional competencies necessary for professional activity in the field of physical culture and sports.
