From January 16 to 18, the All-Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestling tournament “Zhmenko Memorial – 2026” was held in Kyiv, which brought together athletes of the U-17 and U-20 age categories from different regions of Ukraine.

According to the results of the competition, Anton Petryna, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Health Care and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, took 2nd place in the weight category up to 130 kg. The result confirmed the proper level of sports training and systematic work with students in the field of physical education and sports.
