Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University continues to actively improve the formats of interaction with schools, introducing modern methods of professional orientation of young people. Thus, LTSNU conducted career guidance lessons in secondary education institutions of the Lubny City Council - Academic Lyceum named after the Shemet brothers and Academic Lyceum "European".

An interactive lesson on the topic "Conscious choice of the future: how to find yourself in the profession" was held for the 10-11th grade pupils. This format became a new method of attracting future entrants, initiated and organized by the marketing department of LTSNU, aimed at creating live contact between the university and senior pupils and helping young people determine their own professional path.

The lesson was conducted by:

• Artem Oleksandrovych Halych - Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Journalism;

• Tetiana Demianchuk - Leading Specialist of the Marketing Department.

During the lesson, the importance of a conscious choice of profession, the role of a modern university in the life of a young person, key skills of the 21st century, as well as how to recognize their strengths and interests were discussed. Pupils joined the dialogue, asked questions about professions, the educational process, creative opportunities and employment prospects.

At the end of the lesson, the students learned about the history of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, were introduced to the advantages of studying, unique educational programs and the student-centered atmosphere of the university. Everyone received advertising and information booklets, and Artem Oleksandrovych Halych provided comprehensive answers to the questions of high school students.

A special part of the meeting was the career guidance test, which was conducted by Tetyana Demyanchuk. Thanks to it, students were able to better understand their own inclinations, determine professional orientations and see which areas could be the most comfortable and promising for them.

The lessons were held in the form of a friendly dialogue, in an atmosphere of openness and interest.
