Center for Ecological and Psychological Support
During the war, the load on the psyche becomes so intense that natural adaptation mechanisms often fail. In these conditions, centers for psychological recovery and support become especially important, as they become places of safety and create the basis for restoring the integrity and vitality of people.
The Center for Ecological and Psychological Support of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences and the Luhansk branch of the All-Ukrainian Ecological League became such a center. The center offers a special format of assistance that goes beyond the boundaries of classical psychological centers, integrating ecological and psychological approaches for adaptation, recovery and mental stability of interested persons, thanks to the harmonization of human interaction with the environment.
The head of the center, Natalia Matsai, dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, head of the Luhansk regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Ecological League, presented the work of the center to the management. She spoke about the Center's work plan, described the main areas and format of ecological and psychological work - individual and group consultations, trainings, seminars, educational events, art workshops, etc. Nataliia Yuriivna showed the materials used in the work, talked about the author's methods and presented the works of the center's visitors. Vitaliy Semenovich and Olena Leonidivna tried out some art techniques. The head of the center noted the active work of her team - the center coordinator Iryna Kravets, technical coordinator Natalia Pavlova, trainers Iryna Kyrpychova, Kateryna Berezenko and Olha Hubska, emphasized that the team aims to involve the student self-government of the faculty in this important work.
