The event was also attended by directors of structural units and university representatives.

The meeting was held in the format of an open and active dialogue. The participants discussed the current issues of choosing the educational trajectory of 9th grade pupils in the context of implementing the reform of the senior specialized school. The conversation was difficult, but constructive – the parties agreed to jointly seek alternative ways to solve problematic issues and build an effective model of further cooperation.

In the second part of the event, directors of vocational pre-higher education institutions of the Lubny community presented their educational institutions. From the separate structural units of LTSNU, professional colleges and the Regional Center for Professional Education were presented by the director of the Starobilsk Professional College Olena Krutko and the director of the Professional College of LTSNU Nataliia Motunova.

During the presentation, they introduced the attendees to the educational structure of the university, the list of specialties, admission requirements, and the advantages of studying in professional colleges after the 9th grade. It was emphasized that a wide range of educational programs allows to acquire a modern profession simultaneously with obtaining a high-quality complete general secondary education, and also opens up prospects for further professional and academic growth.

The meeting ended with an invitation to closer cooperation, the organization of career guidance events and excursions to the university for students and parents. Such meetings strengthen the partnership between the community and the university and contribute to the conscious choice of their own educational and professional path by young people.
